Bladed Rotors in Turbine Flow Meters

Bladed rotors are the moving part in turbine flow meters. The rotor spins when liquid or gas passes through the flow tube. The blade angle and number of blades set the K-factor. For a DN25 turbine flow meter, the K-factor may be 1200 pulses per litre. For a DN100 unit, the K-factor may drop to 95 pulses per litre.
